APPEARANCE»»»Gale is strong and moderately well built and stands at 6’3’’ weighing 75Kg, his short black hair is often spiked up as he constantly runs his hands through it. His constant devilish smile is almost always on his lips only disappearing when surprised greatly by something. He can run very fast as a result of living in the cave when he was a child. He had very long arms which can be commented a fair bit before people realising that they are annoying him.
He normally wears a large trench-coat type jacket with a short sleeve shirt underneath, constantly wearing skinny jeans and gloves. He will occasionally wear a scarf around his neck which flows softly with the wind as he walks. Because he grew up in the ice cave with no clothing to begin with he is very used to the cold and it does not bother him, as a result he will often take his trench coat off without really realising it, the habit hasn’t really been broken at all.

Gale is cool and calculating, devising clever schemes and battle tactics that would baffle most people. His Masterful display can be quite scary for an opposing trainer to watch. He is emotionless during battle he only exception is his grin he always wears in conflict. He merely speaking his commands and his Pokémon obey without second thought. His Pokémon are powerful and graceful, tearing apart his enemies while he stands there with his devilish grin. Many people do not cross him, and the few who do are torn down with a smile, removing anyone in his path. He is a dangerous adversary off the battlefield as well, using under-hand tactics to achieve his goal and if his protégé is harmed he will personally destroy whoever is at fault, putting alight his normally damp fuse and lighting his ability for true hate.
When you’re not on his bad side, he can almost be laid-back and a welcoming friend, but is always on guard for treachery. He does not take kindly to people trying to impose their will on him and goes out of his way to make sure that no one can ever do that. He will defend any he calls friend with his life and the same goes for his Pokémon, he cares deeply for them and hates to see any harm befall them. His Pokémon will do anything for him, their relationship runs deeper than most trainers and they truly understand one another.
HISTORY»»» Not much is known about Gale’s childhood, all that is known is he was found in the Ice Path by an explorer when he was roughly six. He had apparently spent his early years in the Ice Path after presumably being abandoned by his parents. He had befriended many of the Pokémon there and they were sad to see him leave, but they understood that he needed to move on, that he needed to live with his own people. He lived in mahogany town with his adopted father and mother; he went to a normal school and everything seemed to be fine. But there was always a feeling of emptiness lingering in the back of his mind, a need to go back to the ice path, the place he deemed to be his home.
After several years in school he could not take the emptiness anymore, he gathered his things and ran away from the place of his foster parents went back to the Ice Cave. When he went back he was greeted warmly by the Pokémon he once called his friends, they stuck by his side as he moved through the caves inner depths, places previously unexplored by him and his friends. What they found was not good, a swarm of Zubats swarmed them scratching and biting them, when they thought all hope was lost, when he thought he was going to die in that freezing place. A crystal blue light shot up overhead, freezing all the Zubats the instance they came into contact with the beam and fell to earth after lingering in the air for a while. He looked up startled and saw it was a Glaceon, it stood there, a display of dominance. This Pokémon was one of the first Pokémon Gale had ever met, their friendship ran deeper then the deepest sea, nothing could separate them for long. He left the cave with four Pokémon at his heels and began his journey.
Several years passed before he returned to mahogany town, with every badge except the ice badge occupying his case he felt it was time to test his skill as an Ice trainer, and what better way to do that then to battle the Ice gym leader. He arrived through the doors, trademark smile ever present on his lips. As he challenged the Leader, he noticed how frail and old he was, too old to be continuing his duty as a gym leader. Gale found no difficulty in defeating him, after the battle the old man offered Gale the position of gym leader. He had never really thought of becoming a gym leader, he wouldn’t really care for the position either, but nonetheless he accepted the duty, with his trusty Pokémon by his side, there is no stronger ice user currently known that is stronger than Gale Arkaven
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE»»» Gale watched as another trainer walked through his gym. A smile formed on the leader’s lips, it meant nothing, it was just there, not reason but as it is all the time, just there always intimidating any opponent who faced him. He watched curiously as the trainer stepped forward, pronouncing his challenge towards the gym leader. The smile became more pronounced, more devious and generally became scary. The trainer began to lose his nerve, uneasy from the scary face of the gym leader. Gale noticed the trainer recoil and the smile vanished instantly.
“What, you came in here with a big face but the second you are opposed you run away with your tail between your legs…how pathetic”
Gale was disappointed; it had been a while since he had a worthwhile opponent and this person did not seem like he would fit the description. The trainer voiced his objections to Gale, but it no longer mattered, it would be difficult to obtain the gym leaders interest now. Stepped forward motioning the trainer to follow him as he approached the battlefield. The Pure ice had a deceptively reflective surface, if you did not know better you could mistake it for a mirror. This all didn’t matter really as the loud mouth trainer took up his side, clearly in renewed spirit as Gale took his own side.
Gale reached for one of the poke balls in his trench coat pocket and threw it carelessly into the air, as the red glow subsided a Glaceon revealed herself, she was ready and waiting for the trainer to select a Pokémon, the trainer slowly chose his Pokémon, but not before sharing a few words of insult to the leaders choice of Pokémon, and in that instance the trainer lost all hope of winning, his face darkened and a devilish smile appeared on his lips. He was going to make the trainer pay, the trainer had no hope left in the world…he was going to lose
