the bare necessities
NAME»»» Agatha Jane Stervey is the name that was specially picked for the young blonde. She somewhat detests it, saying it is befitting of an elderly, and not one of such vibrant youth like herself.
NICKNAMES»»» Agatha usually goes by Aggie. People who call her by her real name are treated as equally as people who opt for her nickname instead.
GENDER»»» Agatha is a girl, in case you haven't noticed. Sometimes it is hard to discern her between the two, for she is lacking the characteristics that set women apart from men. Her mother says that, in due time, she will stand out. When that time comes, however, is a different issue.
AGE»»» Aggie is a recent addition to the world. She is a mere fifteen years old, but has the mentality of a wisened young adult. Blame it on her mother.
BIRTHDAY»»» November 23rd is the day dear Agatha was born. She remembers said day as if it happened before she existed. That was sarcasm. She has no idea what happened on the day of her birth, but celebrates it like every other normal individual.
STATUS»»» Aggie is the eighth and final gym-leader of the Johto region. She took the position from her retired mother, and uses similar pokemon. When Agatha isn't performing her duties in her hometown, she enjoys traveling throughout the region and sightseeing.
the real important stuff
APPEARANCE»»» A slender adolescent with a taste for life is a wonderful way to describe Agatha's physique. Her figure is lanky and awkward, it lacks any natural curvature to it at all, and is constantly seen as a body suiting of a teenage boy. She digresses however, and plays off her boyish structure with her creamy smooth skin that overlays her bones neatly. Her complexion is that of a soft buttercream, but numerous scars from past conflicts with her companions pepper the flesh, raising up into tiny puckers of angry skin in certain places. Freckles don both her face and forearms, and find shelter upon her back as well. Other areas are clean of the dark spots, but if she were to expose it to sun, it too would suffer the same fate as the inflicted areas.
Her features that reside upon the flesh that she was given are feminine and fitting of an adolescent like herself. Aggie's eyes, a dull (but still radiant) blue sit a bit off-centered upon her face. They are deep-set and wide, allowing for her to capture enormous amounts of light and giving her optimal vision. Sitting below the blue orbs resides a petite nose that sits angled a bit to the right. Freckles pepper the area her nose shares with the rest of her face, and she does her best to cover them up with lighter tints of flesh-colored makeup, but to no avail. A pair of thinned lips (they match her mother's) shield dull-white teeth that could use an extra brush or two. Their straightness proposes that Agatha was, at one point in time, an orthodontic patient, which would be correct. Her braces were torn off but a few months before to be exact. Blonde hair falls from the crown of her head. The strands are as straight as straight can be, and are not thick nor thin. Usually she does nothing to it, and lets it find a position on its own. The two tiny ears that hide underneath the blonde tresses are rarely seen.
Aggie's sense of style draws inspiration from her environment and her taste in science fiction and technology. She enjoys fabrics that shine under light, and has numerous articles of cloth that shimmer as well. Other things thatshe hoardesstrikes her fancy are long boots, skirts, and any other random piece of colorful, neon-ish clothing she can find. Her usual attire is mostly mismatched, but during formal battles, she wears her "uniform" which consists of a one-piece suit and black boots.
PERSONALITYStrategic: She wouldn't be a gym leader if she didn't have a plan, after all. Agatha's ability to analyze the situation and react accordingly is an inherited gift which she utilizes well. She doesn't crack under pressure and, instead, works at a pace that rivals trainers much better than she. Aggie has a way of getting out of wormholes in a matter of minutes, but can only function in such a way with criticism from her partners. Without their critique, her low self-esteem would keep her from making excellent decisions.
Brave: The girl likes taking chances, and won't hesitate to put herself in danger if it's for someone else. She harbors some big guts, and uses them to confront enemies twice the size of herself and to make her name known. The fact that she has five dragons to back her up does give her the confidence to stand for what is right, though. But hey, all things considered, she's still imensely courageous for being only fifteen.
Entertaining: She's a teenager who likes to have fun, sue her. Her best trait is her ability to turn a dreary situation into a happy one with a smile and a simple, bubbly phrase. But alas, peppiness is not a word that is to describe her, for she is not peppy. She simply enjoys having a good time with friends and family. Her remarks are usually ones of sarcasm or misunderstanding, which our usually illegitimately funny.
Intelligent: Another trait she inherited from her mother's side, Agatha's intelligence surpasses many others around her age. She is able to understand things deemed incomprehensible by older individuals, and can use concepts that others would have no chance of understanding. The most coveted characteristic though, is her ability to analyze and react at a breakneck pace. It is only rivaled by people much older than she, and even then, she'd still have a chance against them.
Fiery: She's fifteen, she's a girl, and she's currently going through puberty. Who isn't fiery at this stage of life? Agatha is particularly stubborn and unstable, though, due to her inherited nature. She is a bit vulgar and can go into a swearing fit if prodded enough.
Naive: Yes, she's intelligent, but that street smart stuff flew right over her head when she was being tutored. Her understanding for slang and survival is slim to none, evidence of her mostly sheltered lifestyle. Her naivete does not hinder her fighting ability however. Only her ability to socialize with others close to her age.
Temperamental: To go along with her spunky nature, Agatha's temperament is not much better. Her fuse is short, one nasty or snide remark and it's already too late. Agatha's anger isn't like much others, she usually just...seethes for a bit before calming down. No violent stamping, no tantrums, just... death glares. In this state, she is more prone to making mistakes and relying more on instinct, which isn't beneficial to her or her pokemonz.
Dependent: Due to her naivete and inability to live without support, Agatha is extremely dependent on the people who make frequent appearances in her life. She clings to them wholeheartedly, and has an extremely hard time letting these people go. So as one might guess, death of a loved one ruins her for an immeasurable amount of time.
Selfish: Blame her age. She doesn't like sharing anything with others. Whether it be time, money, or even friends, she dislikes having a set and equal amount with someone else. Although she is selfish, she is not greedy. Agatha could care less about getting everything she wants, she just enjoys having an excess of the things she needs most. Her selfishness not only takes effect on humans, she is known to sometimes keep things from her pokemon as well, which results in a lot of growling and or nipping.
HISTORY»»» Agatha Jane Stervey was born fifteen years previous to this one in a quiant hospital in a quaint town known today as Blackthorn. Her mother, a single woman who had mistakenly gotten pregnant after a stint in a foreign city, was the local gym leader. As one might guess, the news of Aggie's birth stirred most news posts, blaming the delivery on scandal, rape, even conspiracy. It took a long while before the local and international medias settled down, and allowed the woman to raise her child in peace. The truth behind her pregnancy was simple, she had a little fun and had forgotten protection. That was it, but the media pushed the subject further until Aggie's mother finally threatened to press charges. Afterwards, no more interference from such entertainment companies would come around during the raising up of the woman's young daughter.
Her first years were uneventful. As a baby, she really did nothing but poop herself and screech at the top of her lungs for her "ba-ba". Her mother had no choice but to temporarily terminate her position as Gym Leader while she tended to her child, her younger brother stepping in for the duration of two years. During these two years, the full-time mom helped mold Agatha's interests around the intricate species of dragon pokemon, introducing her to her future lifelong companion on her second birthday. The egg had hatched only a few days before to reveal a normal Gible with a feisty nature. Agatha and Gible began to bond from day one, spending all of their time together when Agatha's mother was away. After she learned how to walk and talk (Gible by her side the whole time), her mother went back to her position as Gym Leader. At this point in her life, Agatha spent most of her days within the doors of the massive gymnasium, watching her mother battle opponents with her comrades, and learning the code of conduct her mother, and eventually she, followed. She enjoyed her time there, and continued to grow with a dragon heavy influence around her.
As she continued to progress, her time at the gym continued to extend longer and longer into the day. By age eight, she was already beginning to train under her mother with two new pokemon she had caught a couple of months before on a trip with her cousins. As an apprentice, she flourished, becoming a formidable opponent for trainers who were three to four years older than she. At this stage, she was even challenging trainers who would stop by to challenge her mother, saying that, if they defeated her, they would be able to face the woman who owned this gym. Most of the times, they beat her just fine, but on occasion, it took a bit of thinking to push through her wall of strategies and blunt force. And, at ten, she was actually winning against some opponents, a feat unheard of at this kind of level. Her mother saw this, and began training her harder, teaching her skills and techniques that she could then teach to her pokemon.
It was at the age of fourteen that Agatha Jane was made the lead gym leader of Black Thorn. Her training had been nearly completed, and she was battling at a level almost parallel to her mother's. It turned out to be the right choice at the time, for Agatha was coming out on top for three out of every five battles she partook in. After every battle, she learned from her mistakes and continued to grow. And after a year of occupying the gym leader's position, she is considered a great force to be reckoned with for any trainer who wants to take her on.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLEThis was it. The time was now. That last blow had done it. Salamence had fallen like a dense rock into the sea, his form unresponsive as he lay there slack in the middle of the battlefield. With a shaky, unconfident movement, Agatha withdrew his pokeball, clicking the gray button that would summon Salamence's limp form from the area. With a sigh, she minimized it before clicking it back into place and looking down at her final backup weapon.
"You think you can do this or should we just bail and call it quits?"
The minuscule land-shark pokemon shot a quick glance at his trainer before looking away abruptly and trotting into the center of the enormous space in which he would demonstrate his skill. Agatha, pulse quickening so that she could hear the subtle throb in her own ears, nodded once before preparing a strategy within her tiny head. If Gible could knock that Tropius out with a single fireblast, then perhaps the battle would end in her favor. Only one way to find out I guess...
Gible snarled, the noise ricocheting off the reinforced walls of the gym's main room. The opposing trainer chortled to himself before summoning his Tropius' attention. At once, the once relaxed creature became frigid and motionless, its massive body spread out wide while the massive palm leaves flapped gracefully in the still air. Gible continued to snarl, Agatha took a deep breath, and time ticked on.
Finally, after another sigh, she addressed her opponent with an air of respect, her chin held high, her eyes angled downward towards the battlefield.
"As is tradition, you have the honors of dealing the first blow to my final player. Do what you wish, and I'll combat it with all I've got. Just sayin'"
The trainer nodded at her words, and commanded his pokemon to attack, Agatha, eager to play, scanned every single movement that the giant Tropius made, and planned her counterattack.
This final battle would not end with her giving in. Oh no, she had strategies, strategies that would turn in her favor if what she was predicting were to come true.

NAME[/blockquote]»»» Milotic
SPECIES»»» Milotic
GENDER»»» Female
PERSONALITY»»» Unlike most milotic, Aggie's is actually quite obnoxious. The gentle picturesque stereotype that is usually set upon the graceful pokemon's shoulders has no hold upon Agatha's Milotic. Instead of harboring such traits, Milotic is rude, impatient and lazy. She dislikes working hard and is usually the first to fall in a fight. When she was a feebas, her work ethic was much more grandeur, but after evolution, her want to do well has been greatly subdued under the new personality she exhibits. She does not enjoy fighting, and she dislikes getting dirty. When she does get set off however, her temper can charge a hidden power within her, making her a force to reckon with. It does take a lot to get to that point, though, and when one does, it's usually too late to do anything with it.

PERSONALITY»»» Her main powerplayer, Salamence is a menace when it comes to battle. He enjoys getting rough and dirty and will do what it takes to show battlers what he has to offer. Sometimes, his overbearing and hotheadedness get him into trouble, but the immense speed he possesses helps him get back on top. Salamence is only seen when Agatha is really getting stressed, otherwise, she keeps him from entering the scene. This is mostly because, when he gets going, it's hard to get him to stop.

NAME[/blockquote]»»» Kingdra
SPECIES»»» Kingdra
GENDER»»» Female
PERSONALITY»»» The Kingdra is a dragon that oozes with extreme confidence and arrogance. After evolving years before, Kingdra has gone from wanting to be in the spotlight, to demanding to be in the spotlight. Her pride in her appearance and physique is a bit intimidating, but her sheer might and power are also forces that should be taken into consideration when facing her. Kingdra displays these traits both on and off the battlefield, and only holds respect for Agatha and her mother. She fails to listen to anyone else, and will attack those who think themselves better than she. Agatha has given her an unofficial nickname that closely resembles "PMS".

NAME[/blockquote]»»» Dragonair
SPECIES»»» Dragonair
GENDER»»» Male
PERSONALITY»»» Dragonair is the reserved member of Agatha's group. He is level-headed and wise, and prefers strategy and tactic before rushing into battle. Dragonair does so with ease whenever he is used. Off of the battlefield, Dragonair is very independent and introverted. He dislikes big crowds and would much rather spend his time alone. Agatha shares a very distant connection with the pokemon, their relationship fitting more under the "colleagues" category instead of anything closer. She has no idea how to break him out of his shell, for the Dragonair really only enjoys the company of Agatha's mother, who owns his father.

NAME»»» Gible
SPECIES»»» Gible
GENDER»»» Male
PERSONALITY»»» Ah, Gible. The smallest, and most surprising member of Aggie's team is the self-proclaimed baby, carrying a nature that spoiled tots would more than likely be proud of. He whines, groans, and badgers Agatha to tend to his every whim, and dearest Aggie supports him quite willingly. Why? Simply because, although Gible acts and looks like an infant pokemon, the truth behind Gible's and Aggie's relationship is of equal balance. Unlike Agatha's other pokemon, Gible is used solely as a backup weapon. This is not because Gible wouldn't last if he were to be sent out first, but because he is what Agatha would call her secret, spoiled little weapon. Indeed, Gible may not appear to be much, but once prodded, the tiny land-shark pokemon can not only put a dent in an opponent's strategy, but he can nearly decimate a team that is not expecting his appearance. His tiny stature and minuscule physique give him the needed advantage to do things his other teammates cannot. Gible also harbors the element of surprise, for he functions on a level that rivals that of his third-stage evolution. His appearance, however, can be blamed upon his unwillingness to undergo change. Aggie's just fine with it, she likes how people react to him when he's thrown into the battlefield. Of course, the only way Gible will function, is if he gets the constant pampering in return.
