Ulisis was planning a training session with Treecko today, his raw speed and power was vast but he had not yet refined that power so he would be suitable for contests. The dense forest of the wilderness surrounding him, patches of light making their way through the trees illuminating the place with many beams of light, it was quite pleasant really, Ulisis wasn’t normally one to take in the scenery but he couldn’t help himself with this alluring pace as his eyes turned to the ground, he was in a parting of the trees the meadow like ground was covered in grass with the occasional set of flowers decorating the place. It was truly beautiful and was perfect for what he wanted to do.
He the poke balls from his hip and threw them simultaneously into the air, as the red glow subsided what was revealed was his vulpix and treecko, he had originally only wanted to train treecko but this change of course could be just as beneficial. He crouched down and slung his bag of his back and withdrew some paper plates, he would throw these into the air and have his Pokémon attack them. He glanced towards his Pokémon and noticed that they were standing diligently in front of him waiting for his orders, he allowed himself to smile as he explained what was going to happen.
“Alright, I’m going to thrown these plates into the air and I want you to hit them with ember and dragon breath.”
Once he knew the Pokémon understood, he got back up and prepared to throw the plates. The Pokémon turned to face the same direction as their master and waited patiently for the first plate. Ulisis threw a plate a few meters into the air in front of him; it was quickly met with a joined attack of red and blue flame. He threw another, this time faster and further, still it was met pretty quickly by the two flames. Okay this seemed to be no trouble for them; Ulisis allowed himself another small smile to form on his lips, okay how about this. He picked of two plates this time and threw them into the air at the same time, there flight arcs splitting and turning away from each other, Ulisis noticed that his Pokémon looked at each other briefly before attempting the plates. Ulisis watched as the two fires went for their own separate target; they didn’t attempt to fire at the same target, but instead worked out which target they would attack separately. These two Pokémon worked well together.
Ulisis wanted to test this ability more, he set up the plates around him so they were all within easy accesses, easy to reach and throw quickly. He would bombard them with numerous plates and see how many they would miss. He prepared his throwing arm and even his left arm, he would need to throw as many plates as possible and hope e could do it fast enough to test them. He began throwing them, very quickly not a huge gap between them he noticed the blue flame claim the first prize, then a red, then a blue flame. It quickly occurred to Ulisis a pattern was in effect. They were taking turns, while one Pokémon was resting, the other would attack. This allowed them to recharge their attacks before firing another target. Ulisis was astounded at how well they could work together; this would most definitely be a powerful asset in times to come.
Ulisis quickly ran out of plates and his Pokémon out of steam, he allowed them to rest as he leant up against one of the trees, there would be no harm in staying here a while, he sat there and watched his Pokémon play and enjoy there well deserved rest.

A small Phanphy wandered through the field, swinging it's small trunk with pride its small blue head held high, but it could barely see over the grass in front of it. It let out an undignified snort and continued to storm around unpleased. Shomping its feet and blowing its trunk until it saw them.
The normally proud Phanphy lowered itself. Had it been too late? Had the trainer seen it yet? This pokémon was far too familiar with the cruelty of humans, cornering it again and again forcing it to fight until it fainted and then leaving it within the meadow. It curled its trunk tightly. No one had ever tried to catch the Phanphy, but it had been in numeros fights.
It poked it's head up once more, risking being seen. A Treecko, and some other kind of pokémon it had never laid eyes on before. These pokémon didn't look at all tormenting like the charizard it fought a week ago, but still, it didn't want to fight.
Then to its own horror it realized that it had been staring for quite sometime, and it hadn't ducked its head back into the grass. Confused and frightened the blue pokémon tensed its body and covered it's eyes with it's large elephant esque ears and waited for the first blow it knew so well.

Ulisis saw the Pokémon on the edge of the field; he didn’t look directly at it for fear of scaring it away. He looked to his Pokémon to see if they had noticed it, they were still playing, but they were more cautious now, they constantly glanced towards Ulisis to see if he was giving any orders to him he allowed himself a small smile as he watched the Pokémon peek over the bushes long enough for him to figure out what t was, a phanphy, the small elephant Pokémon was very cautious, but seems to be taking interest in treecko, he motioned to vulpix with a slight gesture of the hand to sneak around the Pokémon while it was preoccupied with treecko. The small fox Pokémon was particularly adept at sneaking around unseen; using the shadows as cover she skilfully stalked the Pokémon.
Once she was directly behind the Pokémon Ulisis motioned for treecko to go towards it, hopefully it would not attack his Pokémon but in case it did vulpix was right there behind it so they had the advantage in a fight. No, Ulisis did not want to fight the pokemon he simply wanted to greet it and let it be on its way, he was merely taking precautions at his own Pokémon’s safety so that no harm could befall them.
As treecko approached the Pokémon, he merely lent against his tree sitting up slightly so that he could be up in a moment’s notice, most Pokémon did not like humans these days, but then, all the trainers, or what’s left of them constantly find and battle wild Pokémon. Before leaving them fainted in the middle of the wilderness. He watched as treecko jumped into the bush, and watched patiently as treecko tried to make a conversation with the Pokémon. Ulisis did not know what treecko would say, maybe he would ask to see if the Pokémon wanted to come out into the meadow, or maybe introduce it to vulpix, Ulisis wasn’t really sure, but he just hoped it wouldn’t turn tail and run, because it would find itself a cornered rat, who knows what it would do then

The Phanphy regretted ever coming to this meadow. Why had it desired to wander so far from it's herd. It would be far safer with the other Phanphy and Donophan that resided with it. It had sought out adventure, but unfoutuanetly adventure treads at the side of danger, danger was exactly what it had found.
It saw the green pokémon move forward and lean against a tree. The red pokémon had gone, though to where Phanphy hadn't a clue. It decided that if it was ever planning on bravory, perhas now was the time. It raised it's trunk and gave a tiny wave, and uttered a soft, "Phan. Phanphy." Perhpas this wasn't so bad, the pokémon seemed friendly.
After its greeting it somehow felt satisfied that the pokémon did not want to attack it. it raised higher just above the grass and trodded in a proud little circle. The trainer was still there, but had he wanted to strike, surely he would have already done so. Phanphy was in fact quite pleased with it's current situation. Exceedingly proud. "PHANNPHY!" It called joyously, then it sileneced, somewhat worried it had gone too far.

Ulisis watched as his Pokémon greeted the phanphy, the triumphant call that came from the creature put a smile on Ulisis face, good, it was friendly no need to worry, he could sit back and relax as the Pokémon had their fun. It wouldn’t bother Ulisis even if the phanphy decided to stay a while, his Pokémon have had only each other in recent times, not many people risked going outside with their Pokémon anymore, the fear of being whisked away on the night was too great for most people, not Ulisis, he would fight until he couldn’t move, nothing would separate him from his lifestyle, that much was certain.
He noticed Vulpix had come around from behind the Pokémon just as stealthily as it had gotten behind it, there was no need to startle the creature, if Vulpix suddenly appeared from behind it, it could well scare it off, it seemed to be very cautious of Ulisis, but then most Pokémon were cautious of humans, and for good reason. He looked to the sky, the just sitting above the tree line of the meadow. Probably three or four ‘o’clock, well that’s what Ulisis guessed anyway, there would be no moving from this spot now it was too late as the nearest town was still a day’s walk. he would need to find a water source soon and set up a camp, maybe the phanphy knew of a nearby source, he would ask later, right now he would let the Pokémon have their fun.
Treecko seemed to be happy with the new acquaintance, and Vulpix was eager to start playing with the Pokémon, jumping up and down raring to go. Ulisis let off a small audible chuckle, looks like they had a new friend to enjoy their afternoon with. It wasn’t often that you could just befriend wild Pokémon

When Phanphy realized that the trainer was not bent on attacking it thats when the real joy set in. It bounced happily for a few leaps blowing its trumpet and squealing it's name. Not often had it made friends outside of it's tribe this was a rare occasion to be savored and enjoyed by Phanphy.
It leapt in circle's around the red and fluffy pokémon. It's name must have been Vulpix. It used Rollout and roll around the field curled up in a tiny ball not paying much attention to where it was rolling until it smacked into a tree rather harshly. However, nothing could destroy Phanphy's mood. It pranced proudly around and then came to a sudden stop.
The reason it had stopped so suddenly, was that t now had left only a foot of distance between itself and the trainer. It raised its head and looked at the man before it. "Phannn." it spoke. This trained didn't seem like the others, in fact Phanphy quite liked this one. It stamped its front legs into the ground then reared and fell backwards onto its back. "Phannnphy." It said happily, almost laughing. Well in the pokémon equivalent of a laugh anyways. For all the Phanphy's pride, it was rathe clumsy and frightened, but that was alright. For now anyways, it was safe.

Ulisis looked on with a small smile on his face, his Pokémon seemed to be having a lot of fun with the phanphy and it seemed to be enjoying itself. All was well Ulisis closed his eyes and began to drift of when he heard a large crash. He quickly shot up to see if his Pokémon were okay, everything was fine but then what was that crash, he looked down and saw startled phanphy. Ulisis slowed his movements down so as to not scare the phanphy but when it started to laugh, or what Ulisis thought was a laugh he relaxed and thought maybe this would be a good time to ask the Pokémon about some water.
But first he slowly reached out with his hand, this slow motion would end with him patting the phanphy softly on the head, he made sure the Phanphy had ample time to recoil and back away if it wanted to but he didn’t think it would.
“Hey, do you know any good places for water?”
The soft kind tone in his voice would hopefully comfort the Pokémon further and allow it to lead them to a much needed water source
