Ulisis is extremely stubborn, absolutely refusing to be wrong even if it resorts to fighting someone. He also does not allow anyone to interfere with his fights, absolutely refusing to not win with his own Pokémon.. Although he can be swayed in arguments if he is clearly wrong, even though he hates it. He is very caring for his Pokémon though, and he always regrets injuries his Pokémon obtain while fighting one of his battles

Ulisis is a joker often cracking up jokes at every occasion, not all of them funny. This can cause him to either become friends with people quickly or enemies really fast. Because of this funny nature he often tries’s to lighten the mood or try to make things more interesting. He also takes joy to others misfortune not allowing someone’s pain to darken the mood which can result in a lot of people becoming annoyed with him.

Ulisis can become enraged quite quickly, this temper can be set off by attacking his goals and if someone states he is wrong in a matter. People that Ryuu hate can be given cold stares and will be ignored, he can sometimes snap and strike the nearest person if he is pushed too far, his can result in people staying away from him and people just accepting his outlook. He dislikes people trying to manipulate him into doing things he wouldn’t do and makes that quite clear if it happens

It is very hard to earn Ulisis respect, but once you have it he will always respect you even if he does not show it. His respect allows him to befriend other people he has either been bested by or people he has just bested, not allowing a grudge to come between people. If he respects, you will have gained a powerful ally. His Faith that he has for his Pokémon is vast, he understands them and would trust them with his life, as they would put their lives in his hands.

Ulisis Was born into a rich aristocratic family, he never really understood his place in the world, and he didn’t want to understand either, his father was a business man of high standards with a large amount of influence in the world, he was just one of those men who always got his own way. His mother was a stay at home wife, looking after Ulisis in his younger years, nothing truly eventful happened in his life during his early years, he was a spoiled child with dreams of becoming a Pokémon trainer. Seeing this, his father gave him a Vulpix for his birthday, the fire Pokémon quickly becoming a member of the family

As the years passed and he entered school, his parents were adamant on sending him to one of the most prestigious Pokémon academies in the known world; he was going to board there while learning all the ins and outs of becoming a Pokémon trainer. But as the stories of missing trainers grew in number, his parents did not wish this fate to befall their son, so they withdrew him in his 6th year and sent him to a standard school in the hopes that he would forget his dreams. In time he did, but one thing remained, his love for Pokémon grew stronger as the years passed. His mother would take him to contests, where Pokémon were not based on their brute strength, but on elegance and beauty, he soon wanted to be a Co-ordinator, his small childish mind soon forgot about becoming a trainer and his dream to pursue contest ribbons installed in him

As he entered his final years in high school, his grades fell as he was preoccupied with contests and day-dreaming about becoming a renown co-ordinator. In his 4th year of high-school he failed and was asked to leave the school, his parents were shocked at this outcome and forbid him to become a co-ordinator. He did not care for the rules his parents put in, so one night he gathered his things, and ran away from home with his Vulpix and escaped into the wilderness.

Ulisis is a short and relatively skinny person. He is surprisingly strong and agile despite his appearance which can sometimes mislead people, he often will run his fingers through his raven hair to push it backwards, so as to get it out of his eyes, and this can cause him endless frustration as he may have to do it frequently. The bags under his eyes as a result of sleepless nights for the fear of being taken away at night as many people have been before.

He chooses to wear relatively cheap clothing so as not to be recognised by people around him. Normally very cheap torn jeans with a loose fitting T-shirt or long sleeve, he never wears jackets as he finds them bulky and uncomfortable, he may occasionally have a scarf on if it’s particularly cold. During contests he will put on his nicest pair of jeans and a shirt and tie, contests being the only time he will attempt to make his appearance presentable.

“Fuck!” Ulisis cursed under his breath again. He had been lost for several hours now, the labyrinth of buildings and shops was completely impossible to navigate. At least in the wilderness he could use Lucario to help him, but out here aura was interfered with by too much to be of any use. To be honest he didn’t even know what town he was in. he began to chuckle at his predicament, ah how the people at home must be laughing at him now. Ridiculing him and his foolishness. Well it was pretty funny, he allowed himself to sit down for a little while to see if he could think of anything.
A little bit of time passed when he saw something shine out of the corner of his eye, A Map! He quickly charged up to it to see where he was, thanks to the little “you are here” arrow he knew where to go next, and began moving on. Wait a second, where did he want to go? He didn’t even know anymore. “Fuck!” he cursed again, the frustration showing on his face. Oh wait! That’s right he wanted to go to the gym, he quickly had another look at the map and saw it was on the other side of town. He moved off in the direction indicated by the map.

Several hours passed when he entered one of the back alleys, he saw this as a short cut on the map, and he proceeded through the route he had memorised earlier on. When he exited into a large square he looked around and couldn’t see the gym, maybe he took a wrong turn somewhere. Well he sat down on a step somewhere, this place feels oddly familiar. As the feeling came over him he realised what had happened, HE JUST WENT AROUND IN A BIG FUCKING CIRCLE!

“AAAARGH, fuck my life!”

He moaned this aloud, there was no one nearby so he didn’t really care who heard him. He stood up and grabbed a Poke-Ball from his belt, He brought out his Staraptor. The large Bird clearly wanted to have a fly and loosen up. Ulisis smiled, why didn’t he do this in the first place? Well he hoped onto the large bird and began to circle the town trying to find the gym. They finally landed in a nearby square. Well at least this time it’s not the same one, he laughed to himself. Well being somewhere different was a pleasant change. He returned Staraptor to its ball and continued his wander.
