It was a few years ago when Johto followed along with the trend and took to building contest halls, starting in Goldenrod. Over the span of three years, there was a full blown system. Eight contest halls, each attached to a gym, and a final step at the pokemon league. It was popular, leaving the population of trainers as half co-ordinators.
But then things changed. It started with a strange amount of activity around the Blackthorn City entrance to Dark Cave. It went along with the building of a house. When the house was done, the activity ceased. People forgot and let it go. But perhaps they shouldn’t have.
It was a month later when trainers started to go missing. Strong, weak. Old, young. Professionals, newcomers. It didn’t matter. But the strange thing was, it was only the trainers. The co-ordinators were left entirely untouched, free to live their lives without fear of being stolen away in the night. Time has taken its toll, the police have found none of the trainers, alive or dead, and there are so very few left. With the police at a loss of what to do, there’s only one option left.
It is time for the co-ordinators to rise to the challenge. To take what they know about pokemon to a whole new level. It is time for them to learn how to fight, in order to find their friends, their family, and everyone else that has gone missing. The rest of us just need to hope they don’t get taken trying.
